AGERE has joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the world’s largest corporate sustainability platform, bringing together over 20,000 companies and 4,000 non-business organizations committed to promoting responsible business practices.
By joining this initiative, AGERE pledges to align its strategy and operations with the 10 Principles of the UNGC, which cover four key areas: Human Rights, Labor Conditions, Environmental Protection, and Anti-Corruption. Additionally, this sustainable management approach aligns with the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which the company has already been promoting to create a positive impact on society and the environment.
The United Nations Global Compact promotes an ethics-based and conscious business approach, encouraging organizations to adopt sustainable and socially responsible business models by providing programs and resources for sharing best practices.
For AGERE, this commitment represents another step in strengthening its environmental and social policies, reaffirming the company’s dedication to a sustainable development model based on transparency, innovation, and corporate responsibility.
AGERE is now part of a global movement that seeks to transform sustainability challenges into opportunities for growth and positive impact.
