As part of the celebrations marking its 25-year journey, AGERE inaugurated an exhibition on Wednesday that highlights not only the company's areas of operation but also its trajectory, including investments, strategies, results, and achievements that have made AGERE a sector benchmark.
The exhibition, located on Rua Francisco Sanches and open until mid-March, also emphasizes the crucial role of current and former employees, as well as municipal services contributing to the development of a more modern and sustainable city.
During the event, Rui Sá Morais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AGERE, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to maintaining a leadership position in the sector, emphasizing the importance of ongoing investments in innovation and sustainability. Rui Sá Morais noted that the exhibition "marks the 25-year journey of AGERE, which has made the company a reference in the sector, both nationally and internationally." He also highlighted the "work done in the last decade, particularly in terms of the company's efficiency, which is reflected in reduced tariffs for residents and improved working conditions for our employees."
Ricardo Rio, President of the Braga Municipal Chamber, who was also present at the exhibition’s inauguration, emphasized AGERE’s significance for its daily efforts in providing essential services to the Braga community and praised the ambition to make Braga a cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable city. “AGERE is an integral part of the Braga community and has been a valuable partner in shaping the present and planning for the future. Bringing this exhibition to the street is a way to remind the people of Braga of this close relationship, which we want to strengthen between AGERE and the residents,” said Ricardo Rio.
The event, part of a series of initiatives celebrating AGERE's 25 years, honors the company’s past while also reinforcing its commitment to the future, excellence, and efficiency in the services it provides to the Braga Municipality.
