AGERE took part in the 8th edition of Greenfest Braga, held from 25 to 27 September at Praça da República, marking a highly positive outcome from its participation in one of the country’s largest sustainability events dedicated to the community.
Over the three days of the festival, Braga’s municipal company once again strengthened its connection with the community by offering practical and accessible solutions that encourage more conscious everyday habits, namely by promoting home composting through registration and the free provision of composters to reduce the amount of organic waste sent to landfill.
Also committed to reducing paper consumption, the AGERE stand at Greenfest provided customers with support in transitioning to electronic billing.
The Aguadeiros, meanwhile, have already become an essential presence at events throughout the city of Braga. Once again, they moved around Praça da República distributing public tap water to visitors.
The municipal company also had a flavoured water tasting point, reinforcing the message of awareness around the quality of public water and demonstrating that drinking tap water is an environmentally and economically responsible choice.
AGERE’s presence at Greenfest reflects its ongoing mission to engage directly with the people of Braga, promoting involvement and a shared commitment to small everyday actions that can make an impact on the future.
