The initiative's motto emphasizes that when a company fails to pay on time, it delays the entire economy and Portugal. Therefore, we are proud to once again be among the companies promoting a culture of timely payments.
Failure to meet agreed payment deadlines with suppliers creates a wound in the economic fabric, leading to financial costs, bankruptcies, unemployment, and unfair competition.
We aim to continue being an example for other leaders and organizations to foster a culture of timely payments in Portugal.
The "Prompt Payment Commitment" is an initiative of the Christian Association of Entrepreneurs and Managers (ACEGE), the Confederation of Portuguese Business (CIP), the Portuguese Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry (APIFARMA), the IAPMEI – Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation, Banco Santander, and the Order of Certified Accountants (OCC).
