Rui Sá Morais, Chairman of the AGERE Board of Directors, states that "AGERE’s presence at Braga’s White Night, particularly in the year marking the company’s 25th anniversary, boosts global awareness of sustainability values, offering a space that showcases reuse and upcycling while demonstrating how celebration, design, and functionality can coexist with good environmental practices. These practical examples allow us to show that everyone can adopt a more ecological and environmentally conscious attitude through small gestures and simple actions."
SUSTAINABLE COCKTAILS AND ICE CREAMS
The “AQUA Lounge by AGERE” will once again be the highlight of AGERE’s participation at Braga’s White Night, featuring even more sustainable additions this year. In addition to the usual provision of 100% safe water from the public network, sustainable fruit ice creams and flavored drinks made with tap water will be distributed. These new elements reinforce the message that tap water is safe for all uses and is a valuable resource that should be used consciously and responsibly.
Moreover, the entire space will once again represent a great example of circular economy practices, with a decoration made from repurposed wooden pallets and old uniforms worn by AGERE’s staff. Built from the creative reuse of various materials, the “AQUA Lounge by AGERE” will offer a comfortable space for relaxation and socializing for everyone.
AGERE KIDS: LEARNING THROUGH PLAY
Recognizing the importance of educating future generations about eco-friendly and sustainable practices, the AGERE Kids area will offer fun and educational activities focused on recycling, water conservation, and biodiversity preservation. Through games and interactive activities, children will learn in a fun way how they can care for the planet.
WATER FOR EVERYONE AT THE WHITE NIGHT
In addition to the areas dedicated to environmental awareness and education, AGERE will once again provide logistical support for the event with the presence of the traditional water carriers, who will roam the streets distributing water to all participants. As usual, at the end of the event, AGERE’s cleaning teams will spring into action, ensuring that the city returns to normal and remains clean and safe.
