For the sixth consecutive year, AGERE employees have reaffirmed their commitment to social responsibility through the solidarity initiative "The Tree That Brings Smiles," in which each employee sponsors beneficiaries from a charitable institution in Braga.
This year, the initiative focused on the beneficiaries of the IRIS Association, a Private Institution of Social Solidarity based in Braga. IRIS is dedicated to supporting young people and adults with varying degrees of disabilities, offering activities that promote their overall development, autonomy, and personal independence while fostering social and emotional conditions conducive to their rehabilitation and integration into society.
Founded in 1993, the institution operates in its own facilities, specifically designed and equipped to support its activities. All work with beneficiaries is structured and programmed to enhance their human development and social adjustment.
This year, AGERE employees fulfilled the Christmas wishes of the institution's beneficiaries, showcasing once again the empathy and solidarity of the municipal company's workforce.
