Academic Qualifications and Certifications

• Completion of secondary education (12th Grade or equivalent);
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel).
• Valid driving licence;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical robustness, particularly in terms of hearing (essential for using sound-based leak detection equipment).

Role

• Active control of real water losses and active leak detection;
• Leak detection using an acoustic detector (geophone) throughout the entire water supply network;
• Installation and maintenance of monitoring equipment, including data loggers, pulse transmitters, macro-metering water meters, among others;
• Programming of data loggers;
• Installation, maintenance and verification of macro-metering water meters;
• Installation, maintenance and verification of Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs);
• Critical point analysis of Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs);
• Inspection of service connections using videoscopy.
