Interactive Exhibition on Display at Quinta Pedagógica Until April 6 – Free Admission
Have you ever imagined a future where water no longer exists in its natural form? This unsettling scenario is at the heart of Until The Last Drop, an interactive exhibition that challenges visitors to reflect on the impact of their choices and the urgency of water sustainability.
Inaugurated on World Water Day, the exhibition is sponsored by AGERE, with the support of Braga 25 and Quinta Pedagógica. It presents a futuristic vision where technology becomes the only means of accessing water. The immersive installation creates a contemplative environment, allowing visitors to experience a future in which this essential resource is no longer naturally available.
"Water has always been part of human history, but we are at a decisive moment. Bringing this exhibition to the people of Braga and all visitors helps create a moment of reflection, so that everyone can understand their role in preserving this resource," emphasizes Alexandra Roeger, President of AGERE’s Board of Directors.
Visitors can interact with the installation's surface, triggering visual and sound effects that reinforce the urgent need for responsible water management. Displayed at Quinta Pedagógica de Braga, this artwork serves as a striking reminder of the threats posed by pollution, waste, and climate change to the availability of water.
A finalist for the Norberto Fernandes Prize – Art and Technology, promoted by the Altice Foundation, the installation is the work of artists Inês Norton and Mário Vila Nova. Inês, recognized nationally and internationally, explores the relationship between the natural and the synthetic in her work, while Mário, an engineer with extensive experience in technology and software development, brings a technical and innovative perspective to the installation.
